Web Visitor Information Collected on Our Site and By Us on Our Customers’ Sites
Blue Triangle Technologies provides measurement and analysis services to companies operating business Web sites to help them optimize their end-user experience and site revenue, identify bot and malicious traffic, and quickly respond to site outages. Our performance and analytics data collection services collect web activity as an extension of our customer’s websites. We also use similar technologies for visitors to our website.
Blue Triangle collects and processes the following information:
- -Performance metrics, like page load time, DOM Interactive, and DOM Complete.
- -User experience metrics, like bounces, exits, and click paths.
- -Financial metrics, like revenue, orders, and conversions.
- -IP addresses, which are pseudonymized during collection, and thus GDPR compliant.
- -When used on our customer’s sites, Blue Triangle’s Software does not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, credit card numbers, social security numbers, pictures, and social preferences.
Performance and analytics data on our site and our customers’ sites are collected via a JavaScript (js) tag on web pages. This tag does not grant access to the visitor’s browser, computer, or device. Additional tracking technologies on our site may identify a site visitor’s location, web browser used, IP addresses, and additional information about each visitor, including each visitor’s identity.
To provide malicious bot detection and geolocation information for our customers, as required for digital experience optimization, Blue Triangle captures IP addresses. Blue Triangle pseudonymizes IP addresses at collection. As a result, the IP addresses captured are not tied to any personal information.
Separate from our Analytics data collection, we market our services to companies using respectful marketing practices. We collect only the domain name, the email addresses of those who decide to share that information with us via email or telephone, aggregate information on the Blue Triangle web page(s) consumers access or visit, and collect user-specific information on what web page(s) consumers access or visit and information volunteered by the person or organization engaging with Blue Triangle digitally (such as survey information and/or site registrations).
